The park was designed by experienced landscape architect Design Works in 2009, and it has since become one of the gems of Phoenix. It features a network of diverse gardens, including a wildflower meadow, native plant garden, and butterfly garden. There are also two large ponds found within the park and plenty of picnic tables and benches where visitors can sit and take in the scenery.
